A BRIEF PROFILE

She joined Regional Institute of Education, Bhubaneswar on 12th December 1985 and taught English Literature and Language in the B.A B.Ed,B.Sc B.Ed and B.Ed courses. She was a member in the two years B.Ed Secondary Curriculum Training Committee. She Coordinated Refresher Programme for PGT’s of Navodaya Vidyalaya. She gave academic support to different educational institutions in Odisha in the field of teacher education, teacher evaluation and teacher recruitment. She joined NERIE, Shillong on 9th March 2015. She is presently working as Heda, DELSS and Dean of Instruction. She has taken up many programmes as the programme coordinator in the state of the North East and also involved as Resource Person conducted by NERIE as well as NCERT. Some of her programmes are training programme for Key Resource Persons in developing Oral Skill in English(Sikkim). Training for Master Trainers in Developing Reading & Writing Competencies at Elementary Level (Manipur). Training for KRP’s in Innovative Teaching Learning and Evaluation Practices (Arunachal Pradesh) Capacity Building Programme on Paper Setting (CHSE, Manipur), Developing Childrens stories in classroom and others. She has worked as chairperson in many Seminars and Conferences on Teacher Education and Teaching of Languages.
