A Brief Profile

Mr. B. Umesh Kumar Sharma, employed diverse techniques to promote active learning and exercised flexibility within the classroom addressing students’ needs through special accommodations. Experienced in molding teachers and teacher trainee to accommodate their potentials for remedial planning and teaching for students with Special Needs. Mr.Umesh Sharma joined NERIE as Assistant Professor in September, 2014. Before joining NERIE, he worked as Principal of Thakur Hari Prasad Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences, Hyderabad since 2008. He has experiences as coordinator for M.Ed. Special Education (Mental Retardation) & B.Ed. Special Education (Learning Disability), and lectured for various levels of courses like Post Graduate, Graduate, Post Graduate Diploma and Diploma in the field of Rehabilitation.As a dynamic teacher, actively support teaching professionals on effective work strategies, trained classroom teachers on modifications and accommodations to instruction and materials ensuring the diverse needs of every student are successfully realized. He is an active Visiting Expert of Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi
