A Brief Profile

Dr. Nirjesh joined as Assistant Professor in Mathematics Education at NERIE, Shillong, in February 2024. She has a rich academic background spanning from Bachelor’s to Doctoral studies. She did her Ph.D. from B.P.S Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Haryana. She has served as an Assistant Professor in state Govt. Aided College at Haryana such as D.A.V. College of Education for Women and some other education colleges. She has experience of over 10 years and presented scholarly papers based on STEM education and relationship between creativity, personality, intelligence, and learning styles among students, in journals. Additionally, she worked as an examiner for practical exams at Kurukshetra University, Haryana. She has qualified NET and CTET. She also has undergone few UGC Approved Refresher course and webinars. Beyond academia, she has demonstrated her commitment to professional development by presenting papers in national and international seminars, attending seminars, contributing to organizational initiatives such as quiz competitions and mental health awareness programs, and engaging in administrative responsibilities.
