A Brief Profile

Having keen interest in children’s learning and the preparation of teachers in facilitating the learning processes of children, I accepted the offer of appointment as a Lecturer in Sociological & Philosophical Foundation of Education, at Regional Institute of Education, Bhopal in 2001. Since then I have been teaching B.Sc. Ed., B.A. B.Ed., Two Year B.Ed., and M.Ed. courses. I have guided thirty M.Ed dissertation at RIE (NCERT), Bhopal. I have been awarded an International Fellowship offered by Ford Foundation to pursue research abroad i.e., USA in 2006. I was in University of Washington, Seattle, in 2006-09 to enhance my capabilities in curriculum, pedagogy and research in education. Giving and guiding are the sole purpose of teaching. More you ‘give’ towards learning the more you ‘gain’ in terms of teaching. Teaching is a passion and have to be done with absolute commitment. All the effort of a teacher is to instill the quality learning among the recipients. Therefore, I am here in temples of learning (classrooms) to construct, reconstruct and propagate the knowledge syncing with the mandate of the NCERT.
